PALMA 7TH-11TH JUNE 2024 - FULL - WAIT lIST OPEN
The Aviation Society are delighted to announce a 5 day European break to Palma running from Friday 7th June to Tuesday 11th June 2024, somewhere TAS has not visited since 2014.
We depart Manchester on the morning of Friday 7th June flying directly to Palma where we will be staying at a conveniently located hotel which is situated in the nearby village of Ca’n Pastilla and on the approach to Palma Airport. Palma has become an extremely busy Airport with many charter flights and scheduled services and offers both photographers and spotters alike good opportunities. Members will be free to do as they please over the next few days using the vehicles provided. Ca’n Pastilla is a small and lovely village where there are many restaurants and bars to visit during the trip. We return on Tuesday 11th June on an evening flight back to Manchester.
The price of this 5 day trip is £769 which includes all flights, accommodation (on a bed & breakfast basis and 2 persons sharing) and car hire. Single room occupancy will require a supplement of around £130 and must be requested at time of booking. Places on this trip are strictly limited to TAS members and their immediate family.
Booking - members wishing to secure a place on this trip can be done one of 2 ways. Either by sending a cheque for the non refundable deposit of £300 made payable to “The Aviation Society” to the address below and include your TAS membership number, email address and telephone number for confirmation. Please also enclose an SAE. Alternatively, please send an email to john_wood11@sky.com (with similar details) requesting a place on the trip and TAS bank account details will be given once your place is confirmed so a bank transfer for £300 can be made. Milan 5th – 9th September 2024 - Full - wait list open
The Aviation Society are delighted to announce a 5 days European break to Milan, Italy running from Thursday 5th September to Monday 9th September 2024, somewhere TAS has not visited for a good number of years.
We depart Manchester on the morning of the Thursday 5th September flying directly to Milan Malpensa Airport where we will be staying for 4 nights at a conveniently located airport hotel. Malpensa has become an extremely busy airport with many charter flights and scheduled services and offers both photographers and spotters alike good opportunities. Members will be free to do as they please over the next few days using the vehicles provided. There will also be an opportunity to visit the other Milan airports, Linate & Bergamo and other local fields. We return on Monday 9th September on an evening flight back to Manchester.
