The Aviation Society are delighted to announce a 4-day European break to Budapest running from Friday 7th to Monday 10th May 2027, somewhere TAS has not visited for a considerable time. 

We depart Manchester on the morning of the 7th May flying directly to Budapest International Airport where we will be staying at the Ibis Styles Hotel located at the Airport for 3 nights.  Budapest Airport has an Observation deck located in Terminal 2A that is open all day.  There are also a couple of viewing areas on the perimeter of the Airport namely Spotter Hill & Cargo Hill both offering good opportunities for photographers.  

We shall be hiring vehicles to enable Members to do as they please over the course of the trip.  There is also a museum at the Airport which has various exhibits of Malev and the Hungarian Air Force.  Our return is late on Monday 10th May arriving back in Manchester around 23.00.  

The price of this 4-day trip is just £739 which includes all flights, accommodation (on a bed & breakfast basis and 2 persons sharing) and car hire.  Single room occupancy will require a supplement of around £150 and must be requested at time of booking.   

Places on this trip are strictly limited to TAS members and their immediate family.  A deposit of £300 (non-refundable) is required to secure a place on the trip.
