Now in its fifth year, The Aviation Society is delighted to announce that the next Aviation and Transport Fair will be taking place at the Airports Runway Visitor Park over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday 13th-14th July 2013. This hugely successful event is getting bigger and better every year so read on to see how to take part.

What’s happening inside the hangar?  The Concorde Hangar will become a large market for the whole weekend. Aviation and Transport enthusiasts, societies and traders from far-afield will be setting up tables selling books, models, T-shirts, radios, binoculars, postcards, cameras and all sorts of aviation and transport memorabilia. Demonstrations of SBS / Air Nav Radar equipment and model railways will also be taking place. All of this will be happening literally ‘under the wings’ of the world’s most famous aeroplane – Concorde.

How do I book a table to sell things or promote my good cause?  Table bookings are now being taken from enthusiasts, professional traders, transport societies and TAS members. Once again we are encouraging TAS members to take advantage of a very limited numbers of discounted spaces, so clear your lofts of all those things you have collected over the years and saved for a rainy day, now is the time to “get rid” and make a bob or two in the process! To qualify for these special rates you must be a member of TAS. Please apply ASAP, as demand is always very high.

Traders and non-TAS members  £30 per table (for the 1st & 2nd table then £25 for any extras) e.g. £85 for a 3 table pitch. (If you require more than 3 tables prices become negotiable) TAS members (who are non traders)  £15 per table. You can trade one day or both days, if you wish to do both days the table only costs 1/3 the price of the first day e.g. TAS member one table / one day £15 second day £5 extra.
